Critical Design Review — Cubesat Portugal
This week, our team completed the Critical Design Review (CDR), one of the most important milestones in the CubeSat Portugal competition. The jury challenged our mission concept, system architecture, and technical solutions, helping us refine our project and strengthen our design.
Our Critical Design Review marked the conclusion of Phases A/B, following months of intense work, personal dedication, and the delivery of more than 500 pages of technical documentation.
During the session, the jury conducted an in-depth evaluation of our mission architecture, subsystems, operations concept, and risk strategy. Their questions challenged us to defend our decisions and further refine our approach.
This milestone strengthened our team and increased the maturity of our system design. We now await the competition’s decision regarding our progression to Phase B.
