LISAT participates in Técnico Open Day
On 18 April, Técnico opened its doors to over 3,300 visitors for its Open Day. LISAT took part in the Science Fair, welcoming future students, families, and curious minds of all ages.
On 18 April, Técnico welcomed more than 3,300 visitors for its Open Day, opening the campus to students, families, parents, and children curious about science, engineering, and life at Instituto Superior Técnico.
LISAT took part in the Science Fair, alongside other departments and institutes at IST. Throughout the day, our team presented the LISAT project, explained the mission behind our nanosatellite, and shared how students from different engineering fields are contributing to Portuguese innovation in space.
The event was also an opportunity to connect with future university students and show how space projects can bring together communication systems, electronics, software, structures, operations, and teamwork in a real engineering challenge.
