LISAT celebrates 2 years

On March 11, LISAT celebrated two years since the beginning of a project created with a clear ambition: to bring students together around space technology and contribute to the development of the Portuguese space ecosystem.

What started as an idea has grown into a multidisciplinary team, bringing together students from different backgrounds, courses, and institutions. Over these two years, LISAT has evolved through technical work, partnerships, events, outreach, and the continuous effort of everyone who has contributed to the project.

This anniversary is more than a date. It is a moment to look back at everything that has been built and to recognize the people who made it possible: our members, alumni, mentors, partners, and everyone who believed in LISAT from the very beginning.

Two years later, our mission remains stronger than ever. We continue to work towards building Lisbon’s next satellite, while creating opportunities for students to learn, lead, experiment, and take part in real space engineering challenges.
